At the beginning of the process....

           Fermenti. foods uses the process of lacto-fermentation to create both delicious and longer lasting foods! These foods add more diverse flavors to your diet as well as beneficial bacteria, vitamins, minerals and enzymes to your gut.

         Fermenting is much more common and safer than you might think and is probably already a staple (or two) in your diet. Fermenting is used in every type of cuisine around the world. From Yogurt and Cheese, Salami, Sauerkraut, Pickles and Sourdough bread. This is done in a process that occurs in an anaerobic environment (in the absence of oxygen). This anaerobic environment combined with the presence of beneficial micro-organisms, which breaks down the food in this process called lacto- fermentation. The result, is more readily available vitamins, enzymes and mineral sources as well as billions of beneficial gut bacteria with an indefinite shelf life (when kept under refrigeration).

These Seasoning are first fermented then processed in a dehydrator at exactly 105 degrees. This ensure that all minerals, vitamin and enzymes are intact. These seasonings at 1oz are the equivalent to 1 quart of food! So a little goes a long way.
